    Commission on Land Reform has been established by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Prime Minister Karim Massimov has signed a decree about "Establishment of Commission on Land Reform". This Commission was established by the order of the Head of State to discuss and explain the rules of the Land Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and develop proposals.

    During the meeting of the Bureau of the Political Council of the "Nur Otan"  party Head of State, Chairman of the "Nur Otan" party Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed his gratitude for the hard work of Askar Myrzakhmetov and introduced a new First Deputy Chairman of the party Mukhtar Kul-Muhammed. Mukhtar Kul-Muhammed was born in 1960. He graduated from the Kazakh State National University, Doctor of Law, Professor.

    During the meeting, the heads of state discussed bilateral cooperation in the spheres of trade and economy, water and energy, transport and logistics, as well as culture. The two leaders expressed their mutual readiness to ensure further growth of bilateral trade and its diversification, intensify investment cooperation, as well as create favourable conditions for the transit of foreign goods.

    Addressing the journalists, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that his recent visit to Brussels took place at a time when the Parliament of Kazakhstan was ratifying the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement with the European Union. “Some provisions of the document will take effect from May 1, but the Agreement’s entry into force requires its ratification by all 28 EU member states. And we have reached agreement on that as well,” he said.
